I was recently discussing with a friend, the benefits of buying tailored suits in Thailand. Many people re-order every year after having been measured on holiday. My friend wondered how safe it was to hand over credit card details to people in another country and I explained that a pre-paid Mastercard could be charged up with just the right amount of money so that no-one can take you overdrawn through fraud.
I’ve always worried about this too when travelling OS. Will certainly look at one of these card next time I travel.
