Jackets

The most important decision when buying an outfit for a wedding is whether to wear a dinner jacket or a suit. Check the invite for directions to wear black tie (dinner jacket and bow tie). Otherwise, assume that normal wedding dress codes apply, namely a suit, shirt and tie. Smart, plain coloured ties are the norm.

Most smart dinner suits won’t have buttons on the cuffs, so you’ll need a pair of cufflinks. Cufflinks are often the opportunity for men to show some individualism and personality. Cufflinks within our range include Scottish thistles, golf balls, anchors, playing cards and much more. Just click on the cufflinks below to find out more.

As for shoes, smart black shoes or matching colour shoes will do perfectly for suits, but patent leather shoes are required to accompany dinner suits. Click on the image to find out more.

  1. Check out the Ascot dress code rules for morning dress which may apply at really posh weddings. When wearing dinner jackets or morning dress, only lace up black leather shoes will do.

  2. Hi,

I was looking this and I think it is nice the outfit for a wedding. It gave me ideas.
